History

Stephen D. Shores Sr. started his "family business" in 1964. That is when he opened Shores Builders in Centralia, Illinois. In June 1993, Shores Builders incorporated with Steve, Sr. serving as President, his wife Marjorie as Secretary-Treasurer and son, Stephen Shores Jr. as Vice President/General Manager.

We are a diverse company, completing many projects for Medical Facilities, Residential, Institutional, Industrial, Commercial and Educational concerns.

Planned growth, the addition of skilled management personnel, and our continued goal of being a quality general contractor has brought Shores Builders, Inc. to where it is today. Building everything from gas stations and medical facilities to ball field complexes and warehouses, Shores has developed the expertise, experience and dedication to excellence that built them all.
